March Wedding Colors?!?!?!?
I proposed to my fiance on New Years Eve. Yes I`m the groom posting a message! We were originally discussing a Fall wedding in November, but we`re 2nd guessing ourselves for only having 11 months to plan and get financially prepared. So our 2nd date might be March. She likes the idea of a fall wedding with Fall colors. I`m trying to tell her that dark colors (Navy/Burgundy) Any one out there have an opinion if darker fall/winter colors are still appropriate in March.. I say it`s our day and ettiquete doesn`t matter, but I`m the guy so that doesn`t work for her!!! Thanks for the input!!!

Hi,
This is so cool! My fiance proposed to me in April & we were planning the wedding for October 2004. We actually had our fall colors picked out already (dark grey). Now we`ve changed the date to have it earlier in March 2004 & I`m considering to keep my color. I know the `common` Spring Wedding would be bright & cheery but I`ve already grown accustomed to a nice rich color. I say, if you really like the color, keep it! Don`t change it because of something as small as the season gets in the way. This is ultimately YOUR wedding so enjoy!!!

The sky is the limit with colors! There is no such thing as proper when it comes to color scheme. Spring fabrics come in every shade these days. Learn this phrase...it will come in handy in the future....
"whatever makes you happy makes me happy" ha
Congratulations on our upcoming wedding!

Hello and Congratz..:)
If you want to use the fall colors, then do it. Remember it is your day and there are really no set rules for what colors to use when. If you need any flower help or pictures, please feel free to email me at angwillard@yahoo.com
Congratz again..:)

I got married on March 6, 1999. Our colors were dark purple, white and a hint of gold. It was a night time wedding, so dark colors are appropriate year round. But ultimately, it`s your wedding... Do what you want.
