I Liked David`s Bridal

Hello Future Brides. I know that there are a ton of negative comments on David`s Bridal, but I had a great experience at one in NJ. I made an appointment on a weeknight and went in expecting bad service. But I was so surprised.
I had been to other shops, but if you are not an 8...forget it. I`m an 18 and they had a WHOLE RACK of dresses for me to try on. And I did! LOL, at least it seemed that way. My consultant was helpful, taking dresses away that I did not like and pulling ones she thought I might. I found two I really liked and at the last minute she suggested that I try on one she picked. But she first told me it was discontinued and could not be ordered. I said okay, and put it on. That was it, my eyes filled up, my mom`s eyes filled up, and there we were, crying in the middle of David`s Bridal....happy tears. The best part was, the dress was only $349!!!!! And it was in perfect condition. Add the tiara, veil, bra, slip, and shoes. And I only spent $770! The alterations were $150, and they too turned out great!

My girls got discounts on their dresses, and they came to $93.50. And, boy were they happy. I myself have spent over $300 a bridesmaids dress...just the dress and I did not want to do that to my girls.

As far as quality goes, I thought it was fine. I felt beautiful and my girls were happy.
