Planning An Inexpensive Wedding In Atlanta
I need help finding and inexpensive place to hold my wedding outside and my reception in the same place(inside). I have been given a wedding budget of 6,000 dollars. I plan on having 130-150 guests. I want something that is like one stop shopping. My wedding is some time away, June 05.

I to am planning a Wedding for April 2005 we`re expecting Around 250 people. I understand where you are coming from. But it`s not the amount of Money that you spend but the Thought & Time you put into it to make this day Special for the 2 of you. We have done quite a bit of Wedding Preparation ourselves. I made our Centerpieces 64 Centerpieces for $85.00, Made our Wedding Favors for $100.00, Decorated our Wedding Bubbles for Around $30.00. Bought the Flowers for Everyone for $70.00. Bought Paper Plates for the cake for around $15.00. Bought Twin Size White Flat Sheets for All the Tables for $92.00. We`re having my Wedding Dress made as well as My Bridesmaids & FlowerGirl. I bought a Cake Topper For $5.00. Guest Book for $5.00, Ink Pen for $5.00, For our Cake We`re having a Small Wedding Cake & Then we`re having 2 Sheet cakes made & Decorated similar to ours. We`re holding the Wedding & Reception at the Same location for $450.00. We`re serving Meat, Vegetable, Fruit, Cheese & Dessert Trays as well as Potato, Macaroni & Pasta Salads. I figure food will be around $300.00 to $400.00.

Hi
I`m an Atlanta bride, date set for june 5th 2004. Im in the same boat as you. Trying to spend as little as possible and still have a nice wedding with nice pictures to remember it. My advice is to be creative. Make things yourself. Try to find a site that offers catering. Usually you can get a better price if they offer it in a package. Try to make decorations and favors yourself. Print your own invitations or go with Thermography (its cheaper than engraving). Read some books at your library. There are alot of them out there. And start early because putting things together with no time will only cost more.
