Has Anyone Had A Trainha Removed?

I just bought the Maggie Sottero DION and am not sure I like the way the back looks with the french style double bustle thing that the seamstress suggested. Has anyone had a train (chapel length) cut off? Or know of another way to pull the back up. I`d really like it cut off but my mom thinks it`ll screw up the whole thing. Anyone have any experience with this?

I don`t have any per say experience with chopping off a train of a wedding dress -- but I would definitely recommend that you talk with your seamstress and find out what he/she has to say. They are the experts and they should be straight with you regarding this particular alteration.
