RingBearer Advice....

Hi All,
Well, my big day has come and gone. Everything turned out beautifully. We really couldn`t have asked for more. I do have a bit of advice thought concerning your ringbearers. My cousin who just turned three was our R/B, along with his 6 y/o sister who was our F/G. At the rehersal they were perfect, they were angels. The day of the wedding everything was fine until they lined up to go up the aisle and the F/G was trying to show him how to hold the pillow and he got upset....well the rest was history all he wanted was his Mom. The flowergirl was the ultimate professional (we were kidding that they could rent her out....she was perfect) and came up the aisle without him. One of the ushers then walked with the R/B who stopped by his Mom and then wouldn`t go any further. I believe that we probably could have avoided this had we given him the pillow to practice with the night before, no one really thought about it though. So my advice is to let them practice with their props. Don`t get me wrong it no way ruined anything, everyone thought he was precious (except maybe his sister)but if I had to do it over we would practice! If I learned anything from this year and a half of planning it was this. Everything is not going to go perfectly, but with good planning only you will notice when it doesn`t. Enjoy this time, it seems like it takes forever for it to come, but it will be over before you know it! Good Luck all!
