Hello and Congratz to your Aunt,
How many people are going to be invited? Since you want it like the game of life and want it fun. How about different games as centerpieces? My thought was have different games boards or card games setup in the middle of the tables. But it all depends on if you family and friends like to play games.
She might want to wear a nice skirt suit, does not have to be white. Maybe a soft gray, ivory or something along those lines. Her bouquet could be something simple yet elegant like a dozen and half of roses in a handtied bouquet.
Well, have fun :)

Hi, Marie --
It`s so great that you`re trying to help make this a wonderful experience for your aunt!
Five years ago at age 43, I married Walter, then age 50 ... A 1st for us both. Here`s a sample of the way we handled this.
We had accidently come across a Moroccan restaurant whose food was terrific, & with an ambiance already thoroughly "lush" & very soothing. It`s capacity was 80, & they served a 7-course feast for $25/person. We booked this site for both our ceremony & reception.
Skipping most details & getting to the attire-question: Walter & I never even thought of ourselves in "wedding dress"! (Actually, he wears a tux often, as an orchestral trumpeter, among other things.) I wanted to wear something long, loose, & flowing ... & non-white/ivory!
In the end, I wore a 2-pc silk tunic / long-skirt combo that gracefully flowed from top to bottom w/ shades of red & yellow-gold (Asian wedding colors, though I`m not Asian). Walter wore a robe in interesting earth-shades. These colors have meanings that we explained in Guest Programs.
^^^^^^^
The main points here -->
Check out ethnic restaurants as a site for both ceremony & reception.
Consider color & overall "look" for a bride & groom in both traditional & non-traditional ways, then go w/ what best attracts you (your aunt, in fact).

Hi Marie,
I am 48 yrs old and will be marrying for the 3rd time this coming June. I have never had a real wedding that I was able to plan so we are having a small (35 guests) wedding. I am wearing a bridesmaid dress that just happens to be listed as a informal wedding dress, but not ivory or whit but champagne.
We are having our receprion at my Fiance`s daughter`s house that will be more like a family gathering.
Lots of ideas out there. I hope that your aunt enjoys her wedding day. I think it is great that you are hepling her.
