COMPLAINT To Men`s Warehouse

My first born daughter`s marriage night; it should have been a night of happiness and joy with I, as the father of the bride, basking in the glory of the night`s revelry. Instead it became the night of my greatest humiliation. I ordered two tuxedo, one for myself, the other for my son and due to many other time constraints I was unable to pick up the items until the day of the event. I came in and tried mine on and told the person assisting me that I thought the pants were too baggy. She adjusted them with the side straps and said it would be fine. It wasn`t. I took the tuxes home and contiued with more pressing last minute items for the remainder of day until I dressed and went to meet my wife and daughter at the church. Throughout the night I was ridiculed and made sport of by my continual need to pull my pants up and the fact that my coat was so small it made my rear stick out like I was wearing a bustle. I had to cry out to the DJ to stop the music during the father/daughter dance. Since the event was so well filmed and witnessed by friends, family and business associates I will never be able to live this indelicacy down. I have been made a fool by you and your company and the memory of that precious moment is forever scarred by the Men`s Warehouse and my only pleasure will be to warn every person I can to use any service but yours. Less than cordial, Dan R Parfait [Today, 4 days later they called and offered a partial refund- for the greatest humiliation of my life- a partial refund. Please email them and tell them you heard my story. Re:Complaint]

Dan`s specific issue may be `dead` but the problems with Men`s Warehouse are ongoing. One of this board`s purposes is to warn others of using vendors that have not met customer`s satisfactions (ie, all the negative comments about Davids).

This should be a lesson to all, that you do not wait until the day of any event to pick up your tux.....from anywhere not just Men`s Wearhouse. We recently used Men`s Wearhouse for our wedding, the tuxes came in 5 days prior to our wedding which all our groomsmen and Dads were able to pick their`s up in plenty of time without incident. The Groom was coming in from out of state, and could not pick up his until Friday morning for a Saturday morning wedding.Because I saw this post many months ago, I asked what could be done if we had a problem on Friday when he came in. We were assured one that there is a tailor in the store that could take care of minor things such as to hem a cuff, or a pant leg or take in a waist..... If more than that they would contact other stores etc to rectify the problem. As it happened they all were perfect except they sent the wrong tie for the Groom. When he went in Friday morning and discovered this they sent him to go have breakfast and sent a salesmen to a store nearby to fix the problem.
I posted to this the last time that DanP posted this.To begin with Dan why did you take it when you said that it still did not fit when you left? I think since he said his close friends and business associates made sport of him and ridiculed him all night that he has far greater problems than those he encountered at Men`s Wearhouse. NOTE LESSON TO ALL: Pick up early and tell them if it fits or not, don`t just take it and not voice your complaints.....and later come and complain about it.

Shame on YOU if you left the store with a jacket that was that small and pants that were too baggy! If you were so traumatized that you couldn`t finish a dance with your daughter on the biggest day of HER life you must have a lot of things that bother you! I have bought many suits, jackets, pants and a tuxedo at Men`s Warehouse over the years. I have never had a problem that wasn`t resolved to my complete satisfaction. I recently lost weight and the clothes were altered. They all still fit perfectly. I say to you "Get a life! Be happy for your lovely daughter and move on!"
