Outdoor Wedding Seating

We are planning an outdoor wedding in the flint hills of Kansas and are looking for a cheap alternative to renting chairs. Does anyone have any ideas? I`d appreciate them. Thanks.

Hello,
How many people are you planning on coming?

There will be roughly 125 people at the wedding.

Hi --

If it`s a short ceremony (10 minutes at most), guests can stand. A few chairs could be placed for disabled guests.

Or you could rent chairs rather cheaply from non-traditional venues: schools, churches, funeral homes, ...

Good luck with your planning,

Although I disagree with Bonnie in regards to having your guests stand during the ceremony -- her suggestion of borrowing chairs from schools or churches is a wonderful idea. I wouldn`t recommend asking a funeral home as they aren`t usually willing to commit to lending out chairs as they serve their clients with little notice (it`s sorta hard to know if there will be funeral or not ahead of time).
