To Register Or Not To Register

Hi everyone,
I am getting married in June. A real small wedding of only 35 guests. I just found out that my daughter might be planning a shower for me. I was not expecting anyone to have one for me.It is my third marriage. My question is should we register or not?

It may be a good idea to register to give some ideas to your guests. They will appreciate it, since I assume you already have a house and a lot of household items already. It doesn`t hurt...

I see nothing wrong with registering for some gifts. However, although it`s a thoughtful gesture of your daughter to want to throw you a bridal shower, I would try to sway her against this idea. Typically brides only have showers for their first marriage -- same for a baby shower -- one only has one for the first baby.
