Weding Question

This will be my 4th marriage and my fiance`s 2nd marriage. We are getting married on Valentine`s Day, 2004. I would like some suggestions for my dress, my flowers, music, etc. We are getting married at his daughter`s home, in the afternoon. It will be a fairly small wedding. I just would like some suggestions.

This is your 4th wedding - you should be a pro at this...

Congratulations, may you have both found your hearts desire.

If I were you, I would go simple and elegant, yet understated with all the details, then make sure the ceremony hits on all very strong points. When the words that you speak show your guests that you have actually thought out what will lead to success and failure in a marriage and when you promise things to one another that will help to safeguard your future it impresses them. The same old bla bla bla done by rote with no connection to the couple hasn`t served us very well I`m afraid. My website has many original writings on it perhaps the "We do`s." might be a good example of what I mean. Congratulations once again, may you and your beloved have many healthy years together.

Hi Barb,
Wow there are some prety rude people on this board.
This is my third marriage, but the first one that I am going to have a dress, small but elegant wedding that I want.
I am wearing a bridesmaid dress that so happens to also be listed as an informal wedding dress on the site of the designer. The color is champagne, and it has verry little embelishments on it, but that is a personal choice. No veil, or maybe even haedoiece. Small bouquet and just my daughter giving me away, and my future husband`s daughter standing for him. We are going to have 35 guests, church wedding and the reception at his daughter`s house. Verry little decorating, just people around us who love and care about us! What else can we ask for?
Do what you like it is your wedding, and good luck with it all.
