Wedding Colors - Help !

I am planning my wedding for June 04, and I am having no luck coordinating colors with flowers and bridesmaids dresses. I have 8 bridesmaids, 4 groomsmen, 2 flower girls, and a ringbearer. I really wanted to have red as my main color. However, all the dresses that I have liked have liked for my bridesmaids have been black and white. I think it looks very elegant. So...several questions...Besides carrying red bouquets, are there other ways to add color? With 15 on my wedding party, will that be too much black and white to look at? I don`t want my wedding to look like a funeral...any suggestions?

Just a thought - I don`t know how many honor attendants you`re having, but you could put them in a different color dress...for instance, you could have them in black and white and the rest in red, or vice versa. There are some beautiful black and white dresses though, and you`re right, it does look very elegant. It would be easy to coordinate with the guys too...if you mix and match you could have some in red vests. Just a thought....

Hello and Congratz..:)
There are many shades of red flowers, from the darker shades to the pinks. So there are lot of ways you could do your flowers. Just a couple are these.. 1.) Go with all shades of red for the girls and the guys. Your bouquet do red with a few white flowers. 2.) Go with red or a couple of shades of red and white flowers. 3.)And the last idea for now is to pick another color or colors that you like with red. Then have your bouquet with all the colors and just a few white mixed in and very little white with the girls bouquets and mixed colors or each one carrying a different color.
There are many ways you could have your flowers for your wedding. It all will depend on what flowers you pick and what colors or shades you like. If you need any help please feel free to email me at angwillard@yahoo.com
