What Color Is Diamond White??

I always thought it was a "very white" color, so white it was bluish, but is that wrong??

I just got my stone.. It`s almost 3 carats and i did very well. Here is what they are talking about.. The best colors a def, then ghi, anything less is crap in my opinion.. Actuall i would only buy f or g ...they are closer to white.. There is also a thing called floresence.. When they says it`s blueish thee diamond usually has floresence... These stones are usually 20 percent less then without floresence... It`s also important to remember cut and clarity.. I leaerned alot by asking questions at www.pricescope.com
They also have links to where you can buy diamonds...
Remember the best stones in round have depth and width abot the same size.. There are formulas for "ideal" cuts...
Also I suggest buying GIA or EGL only.. At least you know what you are getting. GIA is on the money for sure and EGL can be off by one color or clarity rating..
I settled on 2.75 f SI1 and ideal cut.. It`s a wow.. Best of luck..

Hey, were you talking about the diamond white dress color? If you are, then I too think that it is sooo white that it almost gives off a blueish glow, but I could be wrong.

Stephanie, you settled for a 2.75 ring? Wow, you are deprived!!!!

Diamond white is also known as natural white and is a colour between pure white and ivory. Each designer has their own rendition of white, natural white/diamond white, and ivory - some designers also have a light ivory which is comparable to diamond white.

Thanks Penny.

I`m not sure what the original posting was asking about, but I have been wondering what diamond white is. Thanks for giving me an idea. I think that I may go looking at wedding dresses this weekend, and a dress that I just fell in love with in a magazine says that it is available in diamond white/platinum. I had no idea what to expect as far as the diamond white, but thanks to you now I will!
