I too am getting married this winter (December 13th) actually. I have a picutre of a snowflake wedidng cake that I can email to you -- it`s really gorgeous. Also, I know where you can get some realy cute snowflake placecard holders.

If you are looking for ideas for centerpieces I know of a few that incorporated snowflakes into them. It`s actually the centerpiece that my bridesmaid had made up for my last bridal shower - the florist used what looked like xmas tree branches and stuck in large silver snowflakes and some other fancy silver things -- then there was a long silver taper in the center. It was simply gorgeous.

I`ve also seen snowflake white lights that you could use in lieu of the traditional white Xmas tree lights.

Anyways, those are just a few ideas -- if you want me to email the cake to you please give me your email address.

If you`re wanting to decorate with Snowflakes you`ve picked the perfect time of the year Most Stores sell
Snowflake Ornaments you could use these to Decorate with Even Spray Paint them to Match your colors Or you could cut out Snowflakes from Cardboard & wrap them in Aluminum Foil then hang them from the Ceiling at different lenghts . You could also buy Snowflake Garland & use it to Decorate with.
Burgundy would be Gorgeous with Silver Accents & with a winter Wedding would be very Wintery looking & rich.

Hi there everyone. I was searching through the posts to get some ideas about January weddings. My wedding will be January 2005 (since the reception site we want was taken for our original date in November). I saw that you all had some really great ideas and I wondered if you had pictures you could share from your weddings and any other decorating advice since you`ve been through this!!!
Thanks for any help you can give!
