Quinceanera Traditions

Hello i would like to know what does the tairra mean like why is the mother crowning her with it ?and i know someone is suppose to give her roses can someone tell me who and why ?

I can`t say that only mami`s put your corona on. But as for the roses...@ our church you give them to La Virgen. La Quinceñera takes them to the big statue towards the end of the mass.
