Change In Reception Place

I think at this point, you need to let everyone who has responded that they are attending know. Be it by phone, mail, or E-mail. Have your Mom and Mom to be help, I don`t think there is any right or wrong way just that everyone gets the message. Can I ask what happened? I am also getting married in two weeks (11/29)and just the thought of something like that sends shutters up my spine. Good Luck!

This wedding is actually by step-son`s wedding. He is being sent overseas to Iraq and he and his fiance decided to get married before he left, which did not leave a lot of time to plan a wedding. The place that we reserved for the reception, double booked and is now providing us with a substitute place. It will all work out, but I was not sure if there was a right or wrong way to handle this.
