Wedding Planner Schools

Hi,

Is there any school where you can go to become a wedding planner. And what is the name of that major.
Thank you.

There aren`t any schools that you can go to, only home study courses. If you would like some more info. Email me at chasingdreams3n8@yahoo.com

There aren`t any schools but there are wedding consulting associations. I belong to the Association of Bridal Consultants. They are headquartered in CT. Check out their website.....bridalassn.com. They have great educational self-study programs; seminars and workshops that tour the country and an annual conference. If you want additional info, feel free to email me at JudyAlden@aol.com.

Good Luck
Judy

I am interested in becoming a Wedding Planner. I have no idea where to start. Is there a certain college that I need to go to? What colleges offer this? Any kind of help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi

I know you have many organisations in the USA which offer terrific training programmes, but thought you might also like to know what is on offer to all English speaking candidates worldwide. We have already begun to receive enquiries from our American cousins, and are getting enquiries from as far afield as South Africa and Kenya as well as Europe.

We are the International Wedding Professionals Association (IWPA-UK) based in England. We are the only externally accredited training company in the UK which provides a quality distance learning programme: "The Certificate in Professional Wedding Planning" which leads to a nationally recognised Qualification. We are audited by the Awarding Body ASET so you can be sure our package is to the highest quality.

Visit: www.iwpa-uk.com for more information. We`ll look after you!
