What is your overall theme? Colors? Location? All of that goes into helping with decor, etc.

Our colors are silver and black and we are totally non traditional...we rented a penthouse for the event (halls and hotel a fortune on holidays) we have a smaller guest list but we want it lavish just the same. Any ideas?

Well, since it`s New Year`s Eve, you could do the whole champagne celebration kind of theme. They have favors, place cards, etc. That are like champagne bottles, ice buckets, etc. You could also use that idea for your centerpieces on the tables: take ice buckets (nice ones) and put flowers and greenery in them. Your guests, if you want, could then have bubbles that they use after your ceremony instead of rice, if you go that route. Those are just a couple of things. Let me know specifically what you need help with though and I`ll see what I can do. Feel free to e-mail me directly if you`d like: canelaw99@aol.com just be sure to remind me who you are in the subject. =)

Hello,
I wanted to ask where your New Year Eve reception was going to be held at, if you dont mind me asking. Are you planning to celebrate until after the clock strikes the New Year?
An idea I had was to do something with some clocks in arrangements. Let me know if you need any help with ideas. You can post here or email me at angwillard@yahoo.com ;)
Neat idea and congratulations :)

Hello Jamie,
I was thinking of the real clocks when I posted..:) But the fake faces or face parts you should be able to find at a craft store or maybe a recycle place. Or you could get some different paper print some clock faces off onto the paper and then attach it to foam board. That way you could have different sizes and styles. If you need me to find some, let me know..:)

I just found your ad, and thought that maybe somehow you could incorporate noise makers/NYEve hats and confetti/streamers into your favors. Also, a couple that I know that is getting married this NYEve is toasting everyone (particulars - the parents and bridal party) at midnight. I thought that that was kind of nice, especially when usually its the bride and groom are toasted earlier! I like your idea of the penthouse... Good thinking!
