Place Card Holders

I am trying to come up with a unique and creative way to display the place cards at my wedding. I want to steer clear of the standard folded on the table or anything that we would buy. I need some really creative ways to have the cards out. I was thinking about intertwining them in a garland? I need help. All ideas welcome. Thanks.

When is your wedding? I`m just wondering because if it`s during the winter -- I found the most wonderful snowflake place card holders that might interest you.

Hello,
The garland ideas is a neat way. I went to a wedding that they were folded like little chairs. Another ideas I have seen is to have a small vase with a flower like a rose in it with the person`s name on the outside of the vase. The little vase could be also the favor..

I have also seen small terra cotta pots that you could use. Just put your favors in them and the guests name on the outside. Terra cotta is really easy to paint/decorate, and they`re not terribly expensive.

Ok - I have an idea. You know those tiny silk flowers that have bendable wire as a stem ? I guess they are ment to be used to adorn favors, etc.?? Why not use them and bend the wire to secure the place card ?

Just a suggestion...
