Grand Entrance For Quinceanea

Hi Beatriz-

I don`t know about the first part, but yeah you can basically have 7 chambelanes and 7 damas. Many people have 14 or less (damas & chambes). And in the church the Quinceañera walks in by herself, no escort. In the reception she can walk in with her escort.

I agree with Tania and for the order there isn`t any certain way but almost everyone does it from shortest to tallest.

Your are saying that the quinceanera walks in by herself and not with an escort, but is he still to walk in the church if it is by himself or what? since my daugter already have this guy to be her escort or shall she just include him in the hall ceremony? i did explain it to her and she does not seem to understand why!

Well I don`t remember exactly why the quinceñera walks in by herself. Something about b/c she`s not getting married and she is just being presented to God as a woman. And about the chambe de honor, he does walk in in the church in the beginning just as the other damas and chambes do, but I think he walks in last by himself (before the quinceañera). In the reception they can enter together. As Jennifer said most chambes & damas walk in from shortest to tallest. When is your quinceañera going to be? Well hope you guys have fun and good luck! :)

My daughter`s Quinceanera is going to be in August 2004. But we pretty much have mostly everything done. Her theme is Dolphins and me and my mom did some beautiful centerpieces for the tables. For souvenirs we have the miniature dolphins they are so pretty. We also have her capias and cintas for the souvenirs all printed up. We had capias especiales made up for the grandparents, godfather/mother, and for her and her parents. I also went out and bought glass champaign glass about 200 and i went to this place and had them imprint a dolphin and her name evaent ,date on them they are beautiful. Her colors are Royal Blue and baby blue and white. They are beautiful. I will be taking lots of pictures and will be making a web page for her when her quinceanera is all done. We bought her dress at davids bridal shop as soon as i find the dress number i will let you girls take a look at it. I am so excited can`t wait for this day to arrive. I actually sat at David`s Bridal Shop and cried my ass off when my princess was getting fitted for her dress she looked beautiful. I guess this is something every mom goes through.

That sounds really cute. Mine`s going to be in December right after Christmas. It`s going top be hectic. We`re going to Mexico by road on the 19th and I`m going to buy my dress like 4 days before. We gotta learn the vals in 2-3 days. And well I hope everything turns out OK. I have a question for you though, do you know the cost for hiring a photographer? Is there much difference between here and in Mexico?

Hey beatriz- what color is ur daughters dress?? well anyways in the chruch the quinceanera is suppose to enter with her parents and the chambelan de honor goes in right before her, and yes by himself. And he will sit with the rest of the chambelanes. And at the end of the mass then he goes up to the altar and escorts the quinceanera out of the church. And at the reception then they do the waltz and so on....

Yea my quinceañera`s going to be in Mexico. We`re leaving by road on Fri. Dec 19 and on Monday we`ll hopefully buy the dress (I have to choose it over there) and learn the vals in a few days. Did you have your quince yet?

Yes u can have 7 gurls n 7 boys...well at least I did... The jury court or the guys n gurls walked in partnered up down the altar then i walked down the entrance into the church with my parents and took me in which it showed that they were ready 2 let go my child days n that i would walk out as a young lady, when i walked out, i walked out wit a guy showing that now i turn into a young lady...well i hope it helped good luck on urs!!!I`m sure it would be a great and precious day 4 u!!!!!!!bye.......

Tell your daughter that the quinceanera always walks in my herself . If she has her chambelan walk her in it would be like she is giving her to God which is not the case.

When you get married you have your mom/dad or close relative walk you in because they are giving you away to your future spouse(husband).

Cuando es la recepcion es donde el chambelan walks her in basically he is just there to make her look good.
