Mention Absent Brother In Program?

Hi everyone. I need an opinion. My fiancee`s family all lives in Brazil and his parents and sister will be coming to the US for our wedding. Unfortunately, his brother has to stay home in Brazil because someone needs to take care of the house and the family business and finances. I would like to somehow mention him on the back of the program, since he will be missed so much. Can anyone think of a proper way to do this without sounding like he`s dead????
