David`s Bridal
After reading so many of the David`s poor experience messages, my question is - with so many complaints out there, why do women still shop there? The regular bridal store where I purchased my gown gave me great service, selection and I felt like family ! My bridesmaids got some perks from me shopping there and they seamstress was very nice and reasonably priced. While getting fitted, I heard other girls talking about David`s and they were having their gowns fitted at this store because they were quoted SO HIGH at David`s. Dress was $300 alterations was quoted at $600! Where did she save money on her gown?

Your right, but I bought my dress at Davids last year before I found these boards. I have to say though that
(KNOCK ON WOOD) I had a good experience. I only paid $525.00 for a beautiful gown. My alterations were $65.00. Now I just have to take it next week for a final aisle ready pressing. They have done everything that they said, I ordered my Tiara and they called me a week later that it was in. They have been great. I think maybe people tend to only complain and not praise. Plus Davids is the only country wide bridal chain so they have thousands of customers, so even if there is a small percentage of disatified customers that is alot of disatisfied customers. There was a small bridal boutique near my house when I was growing up I always thought that is where I would go when the time came...well a few years ago they went out of business, it was all over our news, all these brides never got their dresses, some that were getting married the next week....so I believe you take your chances anywhere! I may of been one of the lucky ones, but I saw my dress online for nearly double what I payed at Davids. Just some food for thought.
