Wanting To Marry An American

Hi i am an american citizen my fionce came to america and has decided to stay with me we want to get married but hed does not have a social security no he has a national insurance no. From the uk though does anyone know where we can be legally wed and the certificate will be recognised in america we have to do this as soon as possible as his 3 month tourist visa is nearly out

It depends on what State you are in. My wife is from a different country and since she didn`t have a Social, all we needed was her passport number. This is in Ohio and every State is different. But you will also have to work with the INS afterwards and prove to them you two have a valid relationship.
