$42 does not seem all that high as an average.

Hi! I too think that is way too high! I am in the same boat right now. But i have found MANY nice places for under $20 a person. All you need to do is take some time and call all the places you find in the phone book! Try the places that don`t have the big ads. They seem to be very expensive. Keep me posted! Nichole, how can you automatically say it`s too high when you don`t know what she`s getting for $40 as compared to what you are getting at $20. I mean come on, if it`s a very elegant four course seated dinner with an entree of filet mignon or prime rib - then she`s getting a good deal. If it`s a buffet of turkey and potatoes and salad then $40 is way ridiculously too high. You see my point? You gotta know what she`s getting before you automatically say it`s overpriced.

For that price you could provide the food yourself & then find servers to come in & serve it or Have a Buffet
