House of Brides have completely screwed me over. I used their website to order my cheif bridesmaid`s dress, and I can honestly say I have never been so stressed and angry at a company in my life!

I received a receipt and confirmation email, and having paid for rush delivery, I waited for the dress to arrive. Three months went by and I heard nothing, so I contacted them to see what was going on. Turns out they cancelled my order but didn`t tell me or issue a refund. Two months later, and still no refund, despite many many phone calls. I am down $180 and I have no dress.

Because of their complete lack of communication, it was too late for me to get a matching dress for my chief bridesmaid - she`s now going to be dressed completely differently. I didn`t even get an apology from HoB - all they do is say they`ll call you back and never do.

I have to say that I`ve ordered from them in the past and it`s been okay (although delivery was twice as slow as they said it would be), but when they decide to mess you up they do it big style, and then offer no help. Your wedding is just too important to let this company have a chance of ruining it. Pay a bit more and go somewhere else - if you take a chance on them, you may well end up wasting loads of money like I have anyway.
