I`ve always liked the songs Always by Atlantic Starr & I Swear by . I can`t remember who sings I Swear but there`s a Country Version & A R&B Version. We`ve been tossing Back & Forth between 2 Songs Either
It`s Your Love by Tim McGraw Or Forever by Kiss.

Thank you to all who responded...they are all great songs....I think I have decided to use Van Morrisson`s Have I told you lately I loved you....Its going to be a suprise to him and everyone....im getting excited...any ideas for colors or flowers??? =)

Nikki, have you gotten this choice of a song approved by the church? I know that some churches require the B&G to get the music approved as some churches don`t approve of any music that isn`t considered church/God music. The churches that I`ve gone to in WI, MN, and IL do not allow pop, R&B, and rock`ish songs to be played in the church -- they all must mention God, Jesus, etc.

Just some food for thought for you to check into.

I am using Have I told you lately that I love you because that is "our song". I have never heard Van Morrisson`s version I am thinking of Rod Stewart`s version. Do you know if the music is similar? I need to find out. Please respond. Thanks And good luck!!!!

Sandie....I like Van Morrisson`s version better....you can go to amazon.com and hear a clip of it....i just like it better....and for knowing if the church will play it....i know I have to find that out yet....im almost positive it will be ok though....thanks again to everyone...

I have tried the Amazon.com thing and I must be doing something wrong but all that I get is Jim Reeves, Have I told you lately that I love you. Oh well I will try again later.
I am having someone play the piano music version instead of the song itself. I think it will sound beautiful, it is a beautiful song either way.
