1940 Wedding
I don`t have much time and i`m running short on money.
My wedding will be in a church and it will be base in the `40s as a normal wedding of the time. I need good ideas that are cheap. Please help. Also i live in orange county california

Way too little info is given, if you`d like advice. For instance, what does the `40s-theme have to do with the cost? How many guests are invited? Where`s the reception going to be? What services have you hired, & what`s still undone? And so on ...

To answer your first question 1940s stuff is hard to find and expensive. 2nd question, 500 people. 3rd question, i already have the florist, photographer, baker, limo, church (huntington beach, ca), caterer. I need the vintage limo, video, deco., rehersal dinner ideas, also where can i find 7 womens 1940s black hats (for my bridesmaids). Thank you for your help-m-

The hat thing realy helps.
Does anyone out there have any good decorating ideas for the reception? It will be out in the church parking lot and all we have so far is baloons, flowers, and tables & chairs.

I think those are great ideas. I already have a couple of toy car for some of the tables, but the other ideas are just great! would you happend to know where i could find more cars that are not so expensive?
