For Decorations you can carve out pumpkins and place flowers in the pumpkins for center pieces, also around that you can add fall leaves scattered on teh tables, and for favours since halloween has just ended you can pick up all kinds of things with pumpkins on them such as candles & holders, etc.

I just helped with a fall theme wedding. We used 6 fall colors, which were roses. We also used other fall color flowers like lillies, rovers, solidago, ect.. We scattered fall color oak leaves around the vases of roses that were on the tables. We also used votive candles on the tables and her favor was a carmel apple for each guest. One the cake table we used both leaves and rose petals with votive candles. We used all the colors of roses on the cake. For the buffet table we just used some of the greens that we used in other arrangements and scatted more leaves over the greens. In the center of the buffet table we raised it up and used a larger container and had curly willow and more of the greens and leaves in it. We also used potted mums to place around the reception area.
But if you would like any more idea, feel free to email me at angwillard@yahoo.com.

As another fall bride (early October 2005), I`ve had a few ideas floated my way regarding favors, etc. If you have an artistic flair and want to create something very personal, you could try the following:

Mini-cornucopia placecards/favors. Find or make them (grape vine is easy to come by in craft stores). Fill them with seasonal flowers (here in New England, I`m probably going to use chrysanthemums, wheat stalks, sedum "Autumn Joy" and late-season nasturtiums with ivy as contrast), miniature glass fruits if you happen to find them in a craft store work well too. If you use them as favors as well, a few handmade chocolates wrapped in foil to match your wedding colors tucked in among the petals or scattered before the mouth of it will make a nice effect. To turn it into the placecard as well, just mount your printed/calligraphed name into a plastic sleeve, and hot glue it to the side of the cornucopia.

Another idea for favors is suncatchers. I attended a wedding where the groom was Irish-American, and the favors were all shamrock suncatchers. You could find some with say, a sugar maple leaf in brilliant fall colors. Place each in an organdy drawstring bag that matches your wedding color(s).
