Help

Hi, I`m a jouinor and it`s my first year at this new school! This my first time being in charge of a school dance and I need some help we decided to go w/ the theme a night on the town, w/ pink (light) and champagne, w/ varies other colors creating a sunset type look but yet a Broadway type look and I have no idea how to set it up and don`t want to ask people cause they might take the job back! Please help
