Multi/Multi Cultural Wedding Traditions
HELP!!!!!!! fiance and i are having wedding and reception reflective of our cultural and ethinic backgrounds.raised in the caribbean, i`m of african/hispanic and english decent; for my part we will include a yoruba tasting ceremony, jumping of the broom, praise dancers and talking drums...also i will be wearing an english sixpence in my shoe. The problem is i`m beginning to feel that this wedding is all about me and my family traditions. Are there any wedding traditions significant to the puerto rican culture, it`s very important that somethng be included to represent my fiances culture in our services and reception. We both have children from previous relationship ages 9 12 and 14 and they will be participating in the weddi, is there anything they can do to feel more a part of the celebration
