Colors To Go With Bridesmaids` Dresses

My future daughter in law chose lavendar for the bridesmaids to wear. Her Mom wants to wear black. I don`t want to wear black. What colors would be fine with lavendar (in photos, etc.)?

I`m an asian (philippines) and will be getting married next year (Feb "04). I also have lavender as my motiff and another color to go with it. I think that electric blue/pink (combination) will look good on you.
