Red Wedding Dress
Is it true that women should wear a red wedding dress if they aren`t "pure" anymore?

No, I don`t think this is true. A lot of people don`t realize that wearing a white wedding dress has nothing to do with "purity". Wearing white gowns came into fashion after Queen Victoria wore one (instead of the usual ornate royal wedding gown) for her wedding, and even then it only became widespread in the 20th century. Until then, women wore all sorts of different colors to get married in, surely red too (and I`ll bet there were a lot more "pure" women back then!). My gown is going to be pink :-)

I`ve known people going into their second marriage to wear white. The color of the dress is most definately up to what you are comfortable with. If you want red...wear red. If you want white...wear white. My sister wore silver for her wedding.
