Difference Between Hoop Slip And Crinoline ??

Hello... I am looking for some advice. I`m new at this ;)
And need to know what the difference between the hoop slips and the crinoline slips. Which are better? Do they serve the same purpose? Ive noticed the hoop ones are alot cheaper. I would appricate all opinions given! Thanks for your time!

Hi michelle! The big difference is that a crinoline is just a bunch of netting, or heavily starched petticoats. But a hoop is just that, a hoop. When you wear a hoop though, you need to wear one to two petticoats over that to smooth the line of the hoops. That is the only big difference. Both give you the same shape, and both are period, but you can fit through a door, with no problems, in a crinoline slip. Hope this helps!! :D

A hoop skirt is used with a crinoline to give your legs room to move. If you just wore a crinoline, you would feel all bunched up and uncomfortable.
