Again, I know this was posted a long time ago... But i just had to add my two cents worth incase someone should read this again...
The way i respond to this (and i`ve seen it many times worded this way) is...
Mr & Mrs so and so
Will GLADLY Attend or will NOT attend
I do believe this is the proper and most sensible way to repond..
