I am also looking for a stencil with a proverb, or the wedding date. Using sand etching kits work great for glasses or mugs in my case. Although the stencil designs are limited. If anyone can find someone who will make the stencils, please inform me.

Hello,
How about making your own stencil? All you really need is some poster board and exacto knife. That way it would be more personable..

I purchased a tool that has an end to it where you can make your own stencil. I bought the blank vinyl stencil sheets and went through the steps. Yeah, it doesn`t work for small and precise details. I tried writing "San Diego, 2004 and the tool makes it too melted for smooth even letters. So making your own sucks! I suggest, like me, to try and change what you want on the glasses. The sand etching kit has nice designs and is easy to use. The outcome looks elegant. If you find a better way, let me know!

Hi,
I also have been searching for small fancy lettering to put on my cousins wedding glasses.
This is going to be one of our gifts to them. I`ve found a site called "EtchWorld" that may give you some ideas, If I happen to find small enough stencils for the glasses and it can be printed off I`ll let you know. Please do the same if you run across something.
Good Luck,
Kay
