Murder For Hire is looking for regular murder mystery dinner theatre actors. We are located near London, Ontario. These roles are for various character roles for all ages, genders, shapes, sizes, colours and personalities. This is a great opportunity for the seasoned actor to try out new skills, i.e. Accents, character traits, etc. If you’ve never done any acting previously, this is a great way to get your feet wet given that there is no “stage” performance involved.
Although, as with any acting role, the commitment level is high, the time commitment is low with very few rehearsals required. That is to say if you sign up for a performance, you must follow through, however there is no minimal requirement of performances for you to sign up for and as stated, very few rehearsals.
Our busy season runs from September to January with minimal activity through the summer months. We provide all costumes, props and learning aids that are necessary as well as transportation to the events. You will receive a small fee for your time and a nice meal, however rehearsal time is not paid although it may be mandatory. We do try to accommodate all schedules when setting a rehearsal date.
