Marring Young
I am 19 years old and a freshman in college. I`ve been with my boyfriend, who is 21, for 9 months now and we have just started talking about marriage. We are talking about a date this summer, and I was just wondering everyone`s opinion on getting married at the young age of 19.

I am 19 years old myself, and in a serious relationship. My boyfriend and i recently talked about marriage, however i did not give him the okay. I am completely in love with him, and DO want to marry him, but i am only 19, and not ready for marriage. I am a sophomore in college, and although i know i would continue my education if we were to get engaged/married, i need to be able to find myself before i marry. For, if you do not knonw yourself, how are you going to let someone else into your life, with marriage? if you are in love, and feel being engaged is the right thing, sure go ahead, after 9 months, if you feel you are seriously that in love, i commed you because that is hard to find. However, getting married at 19, after 9 months is not the way to go. You should wait a few years before getting married, and even if you are engaged, you can always call it off. Better to wait, and perhaps realize later(whether its yeah, i want to, or no its wrong) than to make the mistake now. And, if you have to ask other peoples opinions, maybe you arent sure ur self if you really love this man or not? perhaps you should seriously think about if you really love him, or if it is lust. For, many times we may think it is love, it is truely just lust, waiting to be ruined.
