Double Wedding

Hi Jennifer,
My sister and I were having a double wedding until I decided to go abroad.

We picked the same dresses for our bridesmaids all in the same colour although we decided as our grooms were very different people and looked very different - one tall and the other small we would have them in the same coloured outfits just slightly different outfits.

My sister and I also chose to wear different dresses as although we look very alike often being mistaken for twins, we are very different people, we both chose dresses that were very different but complimented each other perfectly.

Looking at the whole wedding party it looked stunning, the bridesmaids and bridegrooms were in Navy and me in Ian Stuart gown 9840 in old rose and champagne and my sister in Dizzie Lizzie gown Arialla an ivory champagne gown. As our bridesmaids and bridegrooms were in Navy this made our dresses stand out so much and made the colours so rich.

Choosing slightly differend dresses and bridegroom outfits made us stand out as different people, although very much alike. I think having the same dress can look tacky and it can be hard to both agree on exactly the same dress. My sister and I have very similar tastes but this changed when it came to wedding gowns.
