The Party Ride Disaster Beware Of Them
On April 6,2010, I saw an ad on the internet for The Party Ride while I was looking for a Party Bus for my daughter`s senior prom. I saw a bus named Princess Stephanie which would be perfect for my daughter and 29 of her fellow classmates, I contacted The Party Ride and they said they could accomodate us and when I asked about the quality of the bus, Jasun who I spoke with assured me their buses
Were of the highest quality, I was very adamant about having the best for my daughter and her friends since this was a very special occassion and would provide them with cherished memories. So I gave The Party Ride my first deposit
Of $400.00 on my credit card, with two payments of $750.00 each remaining at two future intervals. All seemed to be going along on track with making my required payments, and emailing the childrens` itinerary
For their prom day, I also made a phone call the day before on June10, 2010,and spoke with Natasha and confirmed the plans and the bus I requested. June 11 arrived and we were all excited while waiting for Party Ride to meet us at the planned 5:00pm time but as 5:15 approached I became nervous and called, the operator said the bus was already there and I said no, as I waited on line for another 10 minutes, the bus finally pulled up.
The bus was not what I requested, and as I inspected the inside along with other parents it became a nightmare, the first thing we noticed was a putrid smell of waste product coming from the bathroom, ther was no running water to wash hands, cigarette burns in the sink, the toilet did not flush, there was something wrong with the light in the bathroom, the bus over all condition inside was dirty, there was no big screen tv as promised, the stereo speakers were crackling, there was no toilet paper or hand towels, the air conditioner or fan cover in the ceiling was missing, but the most disgusting aspect was the smell like we were standing inside a giant porta potty. Despite my several calls to The Party Ride, and after being placed on hold at least 3 times with no responding back, we had no choice than to spray lysol and perfume and let the kids leave since they only had a small window to get to their prom before not being able to enter, and the ride was approx. 1 hr, 15 min.
My last phone call to party ride was not returned as I wanted to have them send another bus to the prom location so the kids could finish the rest of their 12 hr. Rental without that horrid smell, the bus driver Eric did agree with me that this would not be acceptable to even he. My daughter called me on the way to the prom, she was gagging from the smell along with other kids, and she was crying because her experience was ruined and was very disappointed along with myself over the incredibly deplorable conditions on this bus. The Party Ride portrays such a beautiful website with promises of luxurious buses, and great customer service, the service we received was far from luxurious and more like a bad dream. Myself and the other parents work hard for our money shouldn`t we expect what we were pitched? I`d like to put the owner and his staff on that bus that the 30 kids had to ride on and see how they would react. We want our money back since we can`t give our kids their special night back, all we received for our money was tears, and frustration. Shame on The Party Ride I can only hope along with the kids and their parents that one day they`ll be out of business because they certainly don`t know the meaning of making dreams come true, and they certainly don`t know what customer service is they are greedy and self-serving, I hope no one treats their children the way they treated ours.
