Should I Post Pone My Wedding?

I am suppose to be married June 12, 2004, but I am ordering my dress from the Maggie Sottero collection. The one I have picked would not arrive until just two weeks before my wedding. Now I have found a new dress that I like even more, but it wouldn`t arrive until fall because it is the new spring collection. Should I wait on my wedding for the perfect dress?

What if you see about having someone make a dress nearly identical to the one you want to order. It would be cheaper and faster and you could change anything that you didn`t love about the original dress. I honestly wouldn`t postpone the wedding because of a dress. There are a lot of other spectacular things about that day and if you found two dresses you love maybe you could keep looking and find a third that could get in on time. Luck.

Personally, I wouldn`t postpone the wedding because of the dress. Then again, I love Maggie Sottero and think all of her gowns are gorgeous and if you wear one of hers - you`ll look fantastic. I too ordered a Maggie and was told it would be here by the end of August and I was pleasantly surprised to see that it came in July. This isn`t to say that yours will come in early -- but in this case mine did. Could be a fluke, maybe not.

Anyways, my advice is to not postpone the wedding. Good luck with your Big Day!

Maybe you can order your dress from another store? I also ordered from the Maggie Sottero spring collection, and I have a summer wedding and was told that there would be no problems with the dress being ready. However, not every store told me that...I heard information similar to what you were told.

Postpone is correct. Post pone and posepone are not.
