Need Ideas
I am having a last minute wedding. My reception will take place in the basemet of a church. There is panel up which is made of wood. What can I do to cover it up or take away from the wood.

I am having the same thing! I found on eBay tulle very cheap and I got some of the white christmas lights, you can drape the tulle across the wall and run the lights through the tulle. I am using 2 colors of the tulle. I looks very elegant. It wont cover it up but, it will make it per-tty.. ;0)

What about going to a discount fabric store and buying a bunch of cheap material that is decent looking (atleast more appealing to the eye than paneling). Buy some wood dow rods which are really cheap...sew the top of the fabric to have a little hole like curtains do so that you can put the dow rods through like curtain rods. Hang them starting at the ceiling and running all the way to the floor.....if the dow rod thing sounds too complicated just staple or tac the material at the top of the wall and then run a strand of lights or something around the top to hide the tacs/staples. If you can find a decent frabic this looks very very elegant. I did this to one of the rooms in the house I bought because I didn`t want to rip down all the paneling. Good Luck!
