Too Young?

I am eighteen years old, have been with my fiance ( who is 22) for over a year, and now we are engaged.

I`ve been raising myself basically since I was 14 years old, and I`ve had to grow up very quickly and I`m alright with that. I know that getting married is a huge committment, and that it is nothing like playing house, but I also know that I am personally ready for that and so is my Fiance.

I am not planning on going to college, I`ve already gone to cosmetology school and recieved my Cosmetology license. I already have my career set, and he has a well paying job also. So there is no worry about financial problems either.

My mom is married to her high school sweetheart now,
And they were engaged when they were in high school, but my grandma wouldn`t support them- and they ended up breaking up, and my mother was upset/ never got over it, and now 25 years later they`re married and have been so for over 7 years now.

I just don`t want to sit around and be miserable like my mother was, rush into another relationship that means nothing to me, or make any mistakes like that. I know that I am mature enough to handle everything that comes along with marriage even if I am young.

I was just curious to see what people thought about my decision.
