Father/Daughter Songs?
I`m looking for the perfect father/daughter song...but there`s a catch. I`ll be dancing to this song with my step-dad. He`s my only father so I feel bad for calling him my step-dad. Finding the perfect song has been a little tough because he`s been in my life since I was 9 years old and a lot of the songs have things in it about being a baby with your father. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. Thanks.

I not sure exactly what your taste in music is.....but there`s a country type song called "He didn`t have to be" by Brad Paisley that`s really nice.......Its about the relationship between a stepfather and child :)

He didn`t have to be is a beautiful song, but if you listen to the words, it is about a young man thanking his stepfather and wanting to be the father that his stepfather was. There is no mention of daughters at all. I`m sorry, but it isn`t really appropriate for a wedding. :-(

I am planning to use Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole`s duet of unforgettable. I love this song, and it being a father and daughter duet, I think it`s perfect.
