Whats The Best Way To Lose Weight Fast?

Hi

I am 5ft 4in, and weigh 9 stone. I recently stopped smoking and since then I have gained this weight. I feel so fat and ugly that I don`t want to go out, And I feel jealous of others around me who have the perfect figure!
Can anyone suggest the best ways to lose weight and keep it off?
