Teen Party Ideas
Cool party ideas for young teens? My soon-to-be 14 year old daughter is desperate for some party games that don't cost a lot of money (none) and don't require her parents to drive all over town getting stuff.
She's invited 30-35 boys and girls mostly aged 13 for this Saturday night. She says they'll play Truth or Dare because it's "interesting". Ahem. She is wracking her brains and ours trying to come up with other fun stuff for them to do that's not lame.
She says the kids are kind of shy about dancing with each other so we need games to break the ice.
Please, a desperate parent cries out for your help!

At my 13th birthday party we did an obstacle course. First you should have people put there names in a hat. Whoever is called, you put a blindfold on them. Then the second and last person who is picked is the person who is turned away from the obstacle course. Others are either safety patrols or actors. The actors are people who act out to the 2nd person who was picked. The 2nd person is supposed to say to the blind folded person what he/she thinks the actors are trying to portray, kind of like churrades to. Remember, the actors can`t talk. And both of the contestants can`t see the obstacle course in the beginning while the obstacle course is being made. I would say to use hoola-hoops a whifle ball and other non dangerous stuff.
