FALL Wedding Ideas
Hello! I am having a Fall Wedding the day before Halloween. I wanted to incorporate a little Haloween into it but my mother FLIPPED! Then I warmed her up to the thought. I mean I didn`t want plastic pumpkins or a costume reception. I just thought corn stalks in the corners with pumkins and white lights running through them. Iluminated Pumpkins as centerpieces..etc... I am thinking of making leaf chocolates and placing 2 in a glassine envelope and using raphia to tie it shut. "Falling in Love on Oct 30 2004" The reception hall I chose is on a golf corse and has 2 walls of windows looking over the wooded course and one with mirrors. I have bought my cake and it will be basket weave with mini pumpkins on top. I want to incorporate the pumpkin cake to the tables and am stuck on Centerpiece ideas. Any ideas would be great!!!! I am staying with Leaves and Pumpkins for my theme. A little raphia and cornstalks here and there.

I am getting married Nov. 29th whole fall theme. No pumpkins or harvest...but fall colors and leaves. I got fall silk leaves last fall at the dollar stores. We are going to scatter them around our centerpieces on the tables. My centerpieces are 13" hourglass shaped glass vases filled with silk fall flowers topped with an ivory bun candle and filagree gold ribbon around the neck. I bought everything 60% off at the Craft store at this time last year. They came out beautifully. The ring pillow, flower basket, guest book and pen, I found online and they are ivory with gold embroidery. My gown is ivory. I want NO white. My flowergirl is going to drop fall silk leaves. My favors are votive candles with a fall theme label and wrapped in ivory tulle. Our names and dates are printed on a fall background thanking everyone for sharing our special day. Our invitatioons are ecru with a fall leave on the front . The verse starts with "As autumn leaves turn their brillant hues, two hearts will join and say I do". My shower was two weeks ago my MOH painted a pumkin like cinderellas coach and made the wheels out of thin metal wire. On the back she painted ...and they lived happily ever after, it was awesome. Also at my shower they found fall themed chocolate candy online. Leaf shaped wrapped in red, gold, and rust, foil.Hope some of this helps you.....Good Luck

Pumpkins, corn stalks, and leaves don`t sound like Halloween at all! They are perfect for an autumn wedding (harvest, thanksgiving, etc.). What about other fall fruits and veggies (apples, gourds, squash, etc.)? And don`t forget wheat!

I am also getting married on October 30, 2004 and having a Fall Themed Wedding. My centrepieces are little bowls with fall leaves and berries in the bottom and a leaf floting candle. We are going to add food colouring to the water and make it a rusty brown red colour.
