You have enough time to get alot of things done. A former post noted that alot of places are already decorated for Christmas. This is very true. I`m getting married the day after Thanksgiving and had to ask our Minister and the Hotel where our reception is to please not have their decors up as we are having a fall theme. Both were very gracious and agreed. They both said they usually decorate that Friday after thanksgiving so they are going to wait until Saturday. So you really will not have to buy anything for the church they usually are decorated beautifully for Christmas. That will save you tons on your florist bill. Now for centerpieces etc. Go to the arts and crafts stores, even a week or two before Christmas they start marking all that stuff down. After Christmas you`ll get it for 50% or less. I did this last year at Thanksgiving. I got all my supplies that we used for my centerpieces for 50% off. I bought silk fall leaves to be scattered on our tables around the centerpieces at the dollar store. I had seen the same containers at Carsons for $10.99 a piece and these I payed $1.00 for. My advice is to focus right now and make some decisions so that when everything is clearenced you can clean up! The idea of the small Christmas trees was great...again they will be super cheap right before Christmas..You can get ornaments and use them for favors. The ideas are endless and if you can buy all that stuff now it will be dirt cheap...and no one needs to know! Good luck! Let us know how things go!

I am using lots of white lights in my Dec. 19, 2003 winter wedding. You can also do like the other post said & do the mini trees. But if you are real crafty you can check out the local dollar stores & by them cheap & the little ornaments to go on them as well then you can decorate them the way you want. If you dont want ornaments on the trees you could always make small bows in the ribbons of your color and glue them. You might want to try using poinsettias for some of your decorations. For our tables at the reception where the food will be we are gonna wrap boxes up like presents and put the trays & stuff on them at different heights to make it look a little more festive. We are having a small & casual wedding. If you want more ideas or if you have some that I might can use email me at rockierochelle2001@yahoo.com
Best of Luck & God Bless,
