Christmas Wedding Bouquet Ideas Needed!!!!!

Please help! I am getting married in Colorado Dec. 27th, 2003 and need wedding bouquet ideas. The bridesmaid dress is a deep burgandy and we are using greenery and pine cones to decorate. The bouquets are still up in the air. It is a very small wedding with only one attendant. Any ideas?

I went to a Christmas wedding 2 years ago that used a winter theme, and the bouquets were made of snow white roses with holly berries mingled throughout. They had some greenery, but not much to let the red stand out within the roses. The Brides bouquet was tied with white ribbon, and the bridesmaids bouquets were tied with a deep red ribbon that matched the berries. It looked really great with the winter theme.

Hi wendy, I just made some flower balls for the maids in my friends wedding and that might work for you too. They were $15.00 and I would be more than happy to make one for you with some christmas type fruits and flowers. Let me know. Email me directly at tmcallister@kamtek.net

You indicated you are using greenery and pinecones to decorate -- I think that is a fabulous idea and I`d recommend incorporating that into her bouquet. You can have the pine cones spray painted (or leave them as is) and have the greenery all around the pinecones, maybe some holly, deep red berries, maybe even a bulb or two -- maybe even some sprayed leaves.

I`m getting married two weeks before you and I too struggled with this. I personally not a big fan of flowers so my BM`s bouquets are going to be primarily holly, berries, silver bulbs, and silver leaves.

Good luck with your wedding, I`m sure it will be gorgeous.

I saw a picture recently of a white muff decorated with a small amount of holly and berries. It was very pretty.

Try adding poinsettia to your bouquets along with berries and holly these are beautiful christams plants in the most beautiful colour of red and have a velvety soft feeling to them they are beautiful and very traditional at christmas time.

You can have your attendant carry a candle (in a glass container of some sort). It can be plain, or you could decorate with greenery and/or flowers.

HI I am getting married Dec. 19, 2003 and we are using silk flowers in burgundy (velvet roses) and some white flowers that have sparkle to them for my bouquet. For my daughter who will be my attendant my mom got some silk flowers also in burgundy & white but not as ornate as mine to do it up. Have you picked out your cake yet? We are still trying to find one we like. Small & Casual winter wedding

Im also having a Christmas wedding, in 2004 however. Instead of using bouquets for my bridesmaids, they will have white muffs to go along with their red gowns. My maid of honor will have the muff decorated in red roses, and the bridesmaids will just have the white muffs. It looks beautiful against their gowns.

Michaels craft store has some of the prettiest creme colored poinsettas. They may work with a nice ribbon tied around them . They aren`t too big either. Hope this helps.
