There are plenty of things that you can do to have a fabulous wedding on a budget. Since it is spring time you might consider depending on where you live having the ceremony outdoors say a park or in someone nice size backyard. If you would rather take it inside then consider a local community center whose rate would be cheaper. You can also do a lot of the items yourself in the way of decorating and so on. Do you or your family members belong to a church, or civic organization like the Elks, or Lions? Sometimes these groups offer their venues at a discounted price for members. Think about the time of day that your ceremony will take place. Late morning weddings are generally less expensive than evening affairs. If you have an afternoon wedding, you can offer your guests a cake and punch, or cake, punch and appetizer reception.
