In Defense Of The Carriage Horse

It has come to our attention that several people are trying to ban the horse and wagon rides through Redbank
This holiday season.
Is it necessary to have them? Probably not.
Is it fun and festive and does it bring in visitors and shoppers to the town? Absolutely!
Our large draft horses are bred to pull carriages, plows and sleds They were bred to carry Knights in full armor.
They certainly have no problem pulling an 8 passenger wagon that is sprung and balanced to roll easily behind these
Gentle giants.
Please don`t let a few uninformed people ruin the festivities that have been enjoyed by many for over10 years.
