I am so incredibly mad at the staff at David`s Bridal in South Arlington, Texas I could scream!
I am a bridesmaid in a Spring wedding. I (and one other bridesmaid) agreed to meet the bride at David`s Bridal to look at dresses Wednesday night. The bride is a 28 year old African-American. The four bridesmaids are 25-35 year old caucasians. The bride arrived earlier than we did and was much more nicely dressed than the rest of us, as she had just come from work. However, NO ONE at David`s Bridal approached her to ask if she needed help until the white bridesmaids showed up. I mean no one. She walked around for 25 minutes, looking at dresses for herself and for us, and no salesperson approached. When she approached them to ask a question she was rebuffed. However, as soon as I showed up, I was immediately approached. As the other bridesmaid and one friend came in they were approached by a salesperson. Also, while we tried on dresses we were given attention but the bride was not. This is ridiculous! What century do we live in?
I can assure you that I will not keep quiet about this incident and I will NOT make any purchases at David`s Bridal.

Normally I`d just say that`s David`s crappy service, but if they made a beeline for you when you walked in the door, something is wrong.

That is AWFUL!!
From all of the bad things that I have heard, even if I knew that David`s was the only place that I could get my dream dress and they wouldn`t charge me anything, I STILL wouldn`t take it from them because of situations like this!

I`d contact David`s Corporate Office & file a complaint . Also Alert the Newspaper in your Area to their PREFERENCE. If you have a local radio station they might like the information as well. Embarrassment doesn`t go over well with big companies they don`t WANT to Air their Dirty Laundry.
